Him indoors

Another day off spent predominantly indoors.
The reason? Well, ever since the last couple of Grantham Canal walks, the body has refused to recover. Essentially, my feet – the left one is still slightly uncomfortable under pressure, and the right one has a niggle too. So, despite being mightily tempted to ignore the pain (or overcome it via either painkillers or alcohol) and have a day out – anywhere – I've decided against it in favour of rest. Obviously, the healing process isn't aided by being stood up for several hours, five nights a week.
Plus, there's the consideration of the Lake District break which is only three weeks away. I'd hate to make matters worse ahead of that, and I guess there's still plenty of time after that to catch up on days out, walking, and the like.
As a small consolation, despite being mild, it's not the sunny day that was forecast – moreso rather hazy.

‘Ello fella! I’m as alive as the day is… er… long. Ain’t used Cheeta in donkey’s – them days are (sadly) over, so no idea how shite it is these days! Hope you’re okay anyway
