Well, okay, “parked on the drive”, if you prefer. And a nice swift two-hours-and-forty-one-minutes journey back.
All that needs to be said is that two days isn’t anywhere near enough. But, Hayling Island was as lovely as ever; the weather excellent, a great time had chilling, drinking, and seeing parts of the island that I hadn’t seen before – and given that I’ve been going there for 32 years, that’s some achievement.
