Mapping

Okay, thought I’d have a little play ahead of the pending roadshow tour, and prepare a little Google map that will plot the path as the time progresses.

This is something that should be updated on a daily basis, given that most of the accommodation I’ll be stopping at seem to have wi-fi access – must be a sign of the times, I guess – so the laptop will be coming with me. Saves uploading heaps of stuff once I get home too.

At the moment, all we have on the map is the start point – but at least it gives me a chance to test whether this feature is going to work. And, for anyone who’s wondering – no, I don’t live in Leicester; I’m actually departing for the holiday straight from work. Seems a bit pointless having to go home only to retrace the route back south again.

All the accommodation is indeed booked, and thus the itinerary posted a few days ago has indeed been cemented.
