Back to back

Maybe it’s the recent cold snap (although somehow I doubt it), but my back has been getting gradually worse over the last few days. My legs have been aching as well, but not to the extent that my back is. In fact, my lower back is so bad that I’m struggling to bend over. I’m not aware that I’ve done anything to it, so we’ll have to monitor this one closely.
Elsewhere, the first round of house viewings went okay. Four houses were looked at; two of them were a definite no (dark blue carpet… ick), one was okay (and in a nice area), and one was nice (but only in an okay area). So, by the looks of it, all four are off the list, and we’ll carry on searching. There’s no rush to find anywhere, and on that basis I’ll be making sure that the property I settle for ticks all the right boxes.
Talking of moving… a Daily Mail article reveals that you can now check the crime levels in your area – or pretty much any area in the country – thanks to “crime maps” now available from the various police forces up and down the country. Useful if you’re moving house and want to make sure that you’re moving to a nice area (if you’re snobbish like me, that is), or of course if you’re just curious. More details courtesy of the article here.

Hopefully, it’s more a by-product of my shite posture…
