I wonder how most people’s diets are going?
Well, given that it’s the new year, it is a fair bet that there’s a lot of people, up and down the country, who made it their resolution to lose weight. And I hope it’s going well for you. Is it?
I make no secret of the fact that I’m not a fan of making resolutions. At least, not ones designed to begin on January 1st. Everyone does it, and everyone seems to fall down at the first hurdle.
But, for a change, this year I did make one resolution. But naturally, it deviates from the norm. Yes, this resolution is to make sure that I eat more. Not less. More. Something nice and easy, and fun. Okay, so the weekly shopping bill will probably increase, but it’ll be worthwhile. There are still some habits to get into, even with this idea, because things like taking packed lunches and the like to work are not things that I’d normally do – and now I have to get into the habit of.
Now, all I need are some scales to keep an eye on the progress. Or alternatively, gauge it on which pair of suit trousers are the first to go…
